Spin-off

Jacob is co-founder of Delmic, a company that was started December 2010 based on our collaborative work with the lab of Pieter Kruit in developing the SECOM integrated microscope. The company is led by our former MSc student Sander den Hoedt and Andries Effting also co-founders of Delmic.

Our work has led to over 15 patents and patent applications, most of which have been transferred to industry. We have been awarded 8 valorization grants to explore commercial or biomedical application of our techniques.
